I am sure all of you have seen the public notice that the marina is opening as normal on Monday, & that Tawe Lock will be operating at reduced capacity from Wednesday. Don't worry I have weighed up the "pros & cons" of a quick start, however with the draconian measures of locking in & out at strict times I will give it a miss for a week or two until the "novelty" wears off & coming & going is more flexible, For example how can I put our boat down for a lock out time not knowing exactly what the weather is going to be like on Wednesday?
Locking in has always been a shambles, when you are holding in the river & boats come up past you & hold close to the lock & get allowed in despite "jumping the queue" I will wait until the status quo comes back. Sorry "Barmy Army" but we will wait for the madding crowd to clear the air before we go.
