Defying the law of gravity! I checked back from the injectors to the timing pump, from there back to the secondaty filter, from there back to the lift pump, from there to the primary filter, & still no diesel. So from the primary filter I blew back through the fuel pipe into the tank & I had bubbles. I removed the observation plate on top of the tank & shone a torch in to see if there was any rubbish in there ,but it was clear & the bubbles were obvious. Which means that there has to be an air lock somewhere between the fuel tank & the primary filter. There are 2 schools of thought on how to deal with it (1) with a suction or vacuum pump (of course everybody has one of them?) (2) fill the tank up as high as possible and push the air pocket out of the line! I am going for option 2 with enough fuel above the air lock it is bound to get pushed out. & the fuel will be used anyway, Looking at the boat on the stands it could be that she is sat a little higher in the stern than normal. Anyway at least the problem has been identified, all we have to do now is find a solution?
