Still trying to get the diesel through.
We know that the starter motor works because we have turned the engine over, & that means the solenoid is working if it is powered up, the engine runs, (until it runs out of diesel that has been lifted.) Steve Bryant loosened the injectors to see if we could speed up the process, but the batteries were almost flat, but they are now on charge, so hopefully tomorrow we can pull the diesel through, & then we have the means to get back to the berth if we outstay our welcome on the yard!
Trevor unfortunately was ill today, but gave us a cautionary warning "how do you turn it off if the STOP button doesn't work?" Honestly Trevor I never considered that, but it is worth considering before we put it back in the water, otherwise we could end up in the "Grape & Olive" car park?
