I don't plan any trips for the next couple of weeks (until the novelty of "serviced equipment etc" & accurately timed lock in & outs have lost their novelty. I find it difficult to judge lock in times. With tide & wind behind us we can do Mumbles to West Pier in 40 mins, with wind & tide against it is an hour, so I would be spending all my time estimating lock in times, & with everything going faster than us, & no apparent order for the lock in it will be a nightmare until the novelty wears off. In order to maintain "Social Distancing" I would have thought that 4 would be a sensible number, with 2 in the bow & 2 in the stern there is room for it. I wont be attempting any trips until this "slot booking" has ended, we need the best of weather & tend to go at short notice, we could be taking up slots that others would take if we were to put our name down 5-7 days before only to cancel at the last minute. There seems to be no way we can operate in an environment of strict timetables we need flexibility & to come & go as we feel (much like Dominic Cummings) lol If you want any further details then let me know
